Toronto-based music producer and deejay, Ben (Benjamin) Zamora, has sadly and unexpectedly passed away. The news of his death came as a shock to fans and friends who expected to hear devastating information.
Circumstances surrounding his death were not made known to the public at the time of filing this report.
His brother Matt Zamora confirmed the passing Ben through his Facebook page. According to Matt’s FB post, Ben sadly passed away on the evening of Monday, May 19, 2025.
It is with an indescribable amount of sadness that we have to announce the passing of our beloved brother, Ben Zamora, on the evening of Monday, May 19th. Information regarding his celebration of life will be announced in the coming day or so. We will also be posting some memories and his full obituary. Ben, throughout his music career, has received support from dance industry veterans including Afrojack, Axwell, MAKJ, Felix Cartal, and more. He has grown his online following by releasing remixes of some of his favorite tracks, including but not limited to Tiesto and Galantis, in addition to official remix releases for Trevor Guthrie and Felix Cartal, which have been released on Sony Music Canada and Physical Presents, respectively.
To date, Ben’s remixes have received over 1.7 million plays collectively across Soundcloud, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
