A 21-year-old woman identified as Chelsea Bracken has passed away while in prison Hobart. According to DailyMail post, Chelsea Braken died on Monday October 27, 2025 while been kept behind bars at Mary Hutchinson Women’s Prison.
The prison authorities the news of her death stating that it was a case of death in custody.
No clear information was given on why Chelsea Bracken was held in custody and the Tasmania Prison through a post shared with the public said no further commnent will made seeing the came will be moved to the Coroner for further investigation.
