The Goldsboro community is mourning the sad demise of Maverick Knoll, who sadly left the world. According to information online, a 7-year-old Maverick Knoll passed away on July 4th, 2025.
The circumstance surrounding his sad demise was not disclosed to the public, but a post on his GoFundMe says he lost his life on July 4th.
The mom who has been devasted since the demise of her son took to her Facebook to pen down an emotional tribute for him.
Life is not fair. Your soul was too good for the mean world. Life is never going to be the same baby. Mommy loves you so much and you’ll forever be 7 and never know an ounce of pain the cruel world has to offer.
God, I’ll never understand why you needed him more than me. The pain and emptiness is unimaginable. He was the best big brother in the world and an even better son. Maverick felt things deeply, and he cared deeply.
Always wanting to me everyone else smile no matter what. He was so compassionate about life. He always told me when he grew up he wanted to fly planes, milk cows and build bridges! My heart is shattered, and moving on to life after such a great loss feels impossible.
His passing was quick but extremely tragic. I am not sure how to process this and move forward, but I know he’d want to, and I still have 3 babies that desperately need me. I wish I could respond to everyone who has reached out and helped, but mentally, I can’t face it all. So this is. Thank you to everyone who has stepped up. It is deeply appreciated.
