The music and entertainment industry are struck by yet another sad development. American singer and songwriter who made a wide mark in the music industry, Scott Sorry has sadly passed away on October 30, 2025 which was supposed to be his birthday. He was just 47.
The family and management announced the news of his passing through a post shared on his Instagram page.
According to the post shared by the family on IG, Scott Sorry lost his battle with brain.
In 2018, Scott Sorry opened up on his battle brain cancer “Glioblastoma” a disease he fought with years. During that time Scott had to take a break from the music scene and work on his health.
He made a comeback on October 30, 2021 and released his first new single in six years. “Black Dog Dancers” was released via Generation X-Ray Records.
As a solo artists, Scott worked with a few band groups which includes The Wildhearts, Sorry and the Sinatras, Amen and briefly Brides of Destruction.
