Information reaching our news desk has it that Koby Aipa has sadly passed away. The 20-year-old legendary surfer lost his life in a tragic e-bike accident last week.
Koby’s death has shocked the whole surfing community, as nobody expected to hear such news.
Koby Aipa who is the grandson of iconic Hawaiian surfboard shaper Ben, was one of legendary young surfers in the world.
The nature of the incident was not clearly stated, but the report says Koby was riding an e-bike while being towed by a car full of friends in Huntington Beach when the crash happened.
After the accident Koby was placed on life support but sadly succumed to the injuries from the crash and now the life support has now been turned off.
The family through a post made on an Instagram account om Wenesday named Aipa Surf Co comfirmed the news of Koby’s passing.
