A shocking and heartbreaking news coming from All Hallows School has it that a young girl named Stella Medeiros Hodge, who is a student of the school, tragically lost her life on Sunday night.
The school had on Tuesday sent an emotional email to parents on Tuesday informing them about the sad development.
Due to the incident, the school based in Brisbane announced the closure of the school activities, including the scheduled sporting and cultural activities from 12.30 pm.
In an email made available to the Courier Mail, the school Principal, Catherine O’Kane, confirmed the tragic passing of a 9-year-old student.
O’Kane said the girl’s family had requested privacy during the “very sad and difficult time”.
“I know that our community will respect this with the utmost sensitivity and care.
“I also encourage you to speak with your daughter about responding to this news with compassion and the thoughtful use of social media.”
The Iona Brisbane had, through their official Facebook, sent out an emotional tribute to the late teen.
