Information that surfaced online a few hours ago has it that Brendan Berg has sadly passed away. Brendan was reported to have tragically lost his life on July 2, 2025.
The report says Brendan Berg lost his life in a fatal car accident along a highway in western Manitoba.
According to an official statement released by the RCMP, Brendan and his partner, Olivia Michalczuk, tragically died in the crash that occurred in Western Manitoba.
The statement by Manitoba RCMP says they responded to a head-on collision at about 3:30 p.m. on Canada Day on Highway 10, about three kilometres north of Bowsman, a community north of Duck Mountain Provincial Park. The site of the accident was approximately 280 kilometres northwest of Brandon.
The statement further stated that Berg and Michalczuk were both in the vehicle when it crashed and rolled into the ditch. It says they both sadly passed away in the hospital following serious injuries from the crash.
Reacting to Brendan’s death, the Royal Canoe, in a statement released on their official Instagram page, described him as the kindest and sweetest man.
“We are all in a state of shock trying to process this tragic news. Brendan was the kindest, sweetest man you could ever know, and his passing has left an enormous and sudden hole in the lives of everyone who knew him.”
