Information reaching our news desk has it that popular American theatre director, Mark Brokaw, has sadly passed away. Reports that have flooded stated the star director died today,y June 29, 2025.

His cause of death or the circumstances surrounding his sad demise were not made known to the public at the time of filing this report.

The news of his death was announced to the public in a post made on X by Nicky Silver.

It reads: Mark Brokaw has died. We worked together five times. He was a brilliant director and my dear friend. Funny, smart, kind, generous, and the epitome of class. He loved the theater, and I loved him. The world feels very different to me today, emptier and sadder. Thank you, Mark.

Mark Brokaw who is an award-winning movie director has worked on over twenty project which includes The Rimers of Eldritch (Second Stage Theatre, 1988), The Good Times Are Killing Me (Second Stage, 1991), As Bees in Honey Drown (Drama Department, 1997), How I Learned to Drive[7] (Vineyard Theatre, 1997), Racing Demon (Guthrie Theatre, 1997), The Dying Gaul (Vineyard Theatre, 1998) and many more.

One of the movies he directed, “How I Learned to Drive”, earned him the Drama Desk award, Obie award, and Lucille Lortel award as outstanding director of a Play.
