Riley Mott earlier today, before the start of the Belmont Stakes, Sovereignty paid tribute to her granddaughter, Margo Mott, who sadly passed away on January 8th, 202,4, after a prolonged battle with a rare form of brain cancer called Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (AT/RT).
Margot Mott, 2 years of age, was diagnosed on September 26, 2023 diagnosed with brain cancer. According to medical reports, she had a large brain tumor that required surgical removal.
Margot received treatment at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, but sadly succumbed to the illness in January 2024.

One week ago I took our sweet girl to the ER after 2 months of strange symptoms and no answers. Before we knew it she was in a 5 hour brain surgery to remove a malignant tumor the size of an orange.
Our entire world has been turned upside down and set on fire. My little best friend is very slowly recovering from surgery and has a long and rigorous fight ahead of her.
