Stephanie Romberg Death – Ex-Premiere Danseuse Has Passed Away, Paris Opera Ballet, Cause Of Death, Obituary

News broke out on social media a couple of hours ago that former premiere Danseuse at the Paris Opera Ballet and actress, Stéphanie Romberg, has sadly passed away at the age of 50. According to reports, Stephanie died on June 2, 2025.

Her cause of death or the circumstances surrounding her sad demise were not disclosed to the public at the time of filing this report, but reports say she died in her apartment in Paris.

The Paris Opera Ballet, a couple of hours ago, through their official release a statement confirmed the passing of Stephanie.

Penning down his heartfelt tribute to the late star, Humarchand, through his official Instagram page, wrote;

We were so young, dreams full of heads and stars full of eyes. Stephanie, you were there to carry us, to support us, to accompany us in this infinite quest that continues to dwell in us today @hannah87oneill @jeremyloupquer. I will never forget all the things you’ve given me in the studio, but also outside, the talks, laughter, and tears. Thank you for everything.

Born in 1975, in Joinville-le-Pont, Île-de-France, Stephanie was a strong dancer who was particularly impressive in contemporary roles such as the Melody in Bejart’s Bolero, the lead in Signes, In the Middle Somewhat Elevated, La Jeune Homme et La Mort, and other creations, as well as roles such as Gamzatti, Myrtha, Carabosse.

Stepanie has danced all the great solo roles of the classical repertoire of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries – Giselle (Myrtha), Cococracker (Arabian Dance), Paquita (Dona Serafina), Bayadère (Gamzatti), Cinderella (Stepsisters), Jewels (Rubies, Diamonds), Suite en Blanc, In the Night, Le Jeune homme et la Mort.

She is known for Casse Noisette (The Nutcracker) (2008), Appartement (2005), and La Danse: The Paris Opera Ballet (2009).
