James Madison University student Pierce Eastman has reportedly passed away. According to information from authorities, Pierce was found dead at the Hattison, an off-campus student housing complex, in building 1161 on Sunday morning.
On Monday, JMU confirmed the death of Pierce Eastman through a campus-wide email from Vice President for Student Affairs Tim Miller with University Communication.
Excerpts of the email read;
“We are saddened to share that we have discovered a death on-site today,” read an email from The Harrison Management Team to the complex’s tenants. “[W]hile the investigation is still underway, this was an isolated incident with no foul play involved.”
