The Inside The NBA team is mourning the sad demise of one of their crew member, Kevin Thomas, who unexpectedly passed away a few days ago at the age of 70.
The Thursday pregame show ended with many crew members, including hosts Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Shaquille O’Neal, speaking glowingly of Thomas’ character, making a touching statement on Thomas’ life and how he touched lives with his talent.
Not much is known about Kevin Thomas, as per his profile and biography, no Wikipedia page was created in his name.
Reacting to Thomas’s death, Craig in a series of tweets via his X handle wrote; Was sad to hear that Kevin Thomas, aka the dude that created one of my favorite moments on Inside the NBA when he got revenge on Shaq and put him in the Camel Clutch, has passed. It’s really guys like Kevin that helped make that one of the great sports shows of all time.
